Kadialy Kouyate is a Senegalese kora player, singer and composer. Born into a prominent griot family, Kadialy draws from the West African tradition, and has appeared at prestigious venues across the world, both solo and in collaboration with artists such as Baaba Maal, Mumford & Sons and Shabaka Hutchings. Kadialy teaches kora at SOAS London and has released many acclaimed recordings, including the recent albums Toña and Terri Kunda.
