Orchestral moods and journeys, romantic solo piano and futuristic soundscapes
Nathan Feddo and Henry White, aka Exmoor Emperor, have worked with Kucka, Ama Lou, Tkay Maidza, Bellatrix, MT Hadley, Jones, Baynk, RKCB and Jadu Heart, amongst others. Their music has been profiled by ID, Fader, noisey and clash and they’ve had radio play on stations as varied as BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC 6Music, Xfm and Triple J.
This album creates futuristic soundscapes with a combination of synths, haunting ambient textures, eerie vocals and deep bass.
Percussionist, programmer and orchestrator Jody Jenkins was the percussion programmer for Academy Award winner Dario Marianelli, on films such as V for Vendetta and Atonement. Jody has also composed music for international advertising campaigns, including British Gas, McDonalds, Samsung and the award-winning campaign for BMW’s C1 bike.
Edge of Silence showcases a range of orchestral scores exploring the very extremes of dynamics and texture - these are perhaps the quietest recordings we have ever dared record.

Legendary musician James Taylor is a pioneer of the British acid jazz scene and an incredible multi-instrumentalist. Heavily influenced by 60s and 70s film soundtracks, his brand of driving funk to smooth jazz expands across a whole spectrum. His songs have featured in TV shows including The Shield and All My Children. Grammy-nomimated John Andrew Barrow’s music has been featured on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central and MTV.
On River of Goodbyes, the pair’s country blues and rock features explosive rock choruses, chunky riffs and moody harmonica.
Wistful, innocent folk with acoustic guitar and mandolin give way to busy rhythm guitar riffs and bright, jaunty chamber strings, punctuated with melodic phrases.
Dynamic, positive fusions of Bhangra and Bollywood showcase tablas, sitars and bass guitar over a four-to-the-floor rhythm, while marimba and Chinese flute move from mellow and dreamy to chilled and seductive.
