The story behind the sound

Daniel Tauber is an award-winning Australian composer creating cinematic music for blockbusters and major video games from his Los Angeles base. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist who studied jazz at Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts before graduating summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music, Dan’s musical projects extend from the Olympic Games (Beijing 2022, Paris 2024) to Love Island UK, along with advertising campaigns for numerous Marvel blockbusters. His work in video games, particularly Call of Duty Mobile, earned him a Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination and a G.A.N.G award. Known for shifting between baroque, heavy metal, and hip-hop, Dan has received major placements across Disney, Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime. His custom arrangement of Pearl Jam's ‘Future Days’ for HBO's The Last of Us Season 2 teaser, the main title for CBS's Evil Season 3, and campaigns for Loki Season 2, The Marvels and Diablo IV demonstrate his range from orchestral to experimental horror, with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios bringing his music to life.
