15th July 2010 The 2nd annual Audio Network music pub quiz was held at the Phoenix Pub in Cavendish Square, London this evening.
In aid of Leuka, via the Fireflies Ride 2010, over 15 teams of media industry die-hards attended to pit their musical wits against each other, propped up by a free bar and tasty buffet.
Hosted by the dubious delights of ‘The Quiz Master’ (Audio Network’s own Chris Blakeston in a less than convincing disguise..), Objective Productions aka ‘Soul Objective’ triumphed seven quizzical rounds later, with ‘the Freelancers’ coming in a close second. Limping home in last place – The ‘Good, The Bad and the Byron’ picked up this year’s booby prize.
A special mention goes to star attraction of the evening, ‘Harry the Piano’ - a total genius who can play any tune you name on his keyboard, in any style imaginable. Racing to the Phoenix hot from BBC Radio 3, Harry met and duly conquered all challenges thrown at his feet ensuring the whole event was a roaring success!.
