After much session work Chris joined ex Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant as his drummer for two major world tours, recording four Platinum-selling albums with him. He co-wrote many tracks with Robert, one of which received a Grammy Award nomination.
Chris met Audio Network Creative Director Andrew Sunnucks in the late 1980s and they have worked together and remained friends ever since. He was a founder shareholder in Audio Network in 2001.
With Audio Network, Chris combines his formidable rock pedigree with a love of all things loud, aggressive and dramatic. “I’m really enjoying working with orchestras like the RPO, a totally new experience for me but with a similar buzz to rock and roll” says Chris. Whilst his work has a raw energy and power that displays a passion for the dramatic it can also be said that he has the ability to show his more ‘silly’ side at times.
At BVE 2013 recently, Chris hosted a seminar on his 'Top Tips for Music in Production', check out the highlights in the video below.
